DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

It was so late it was almost early by the time Lex retired, curling up in a blanket on the couch and dropping off to sleep.  He felt better now that he'd accomplished something.

Gaster woke in the morning at his usual time and started to get everything ready for breakfast and the day ahead.

Shuni padded out sleepily and gave Gaster a hug. "Good morning, Daddy."

Gaster smiled and hugged him back. "Good morning, Shuni."

"Can I help with breakfast?" Shuni asked hopefully.

Hugs was curious. The big, fluffy cat crept closer to Ashton, sniffing cautiously as he tried to figure out the half dead thing and, more importantly, the tiny kitten sleeping on his chest.

Gaster smiled. "Of course you may." He said kindly before he instructed Shuni on what to do.

Ashton was sound asleep, and had no clue that the cat was sniffing him. For once, Ashton was having a good dream.

Shuni followed Gaster's instructions willingly, enjoying the work.

Hugs hopped up onto the couch at Ashton's feet and tiptoed up between Ashton's legs then climbed up on his thigh and sat on Ashton's stomach, sniffing Night.

Gaster appreciated how hard of a worker Shuni was.

Ashton woke and watched the cat. He made no move, not wanting to startle the feline.

Hugs sniffed at Night, getting close.  Night woke and lifted his head as best he was able, his head wobbling on his stick-like neck like a bobblehead.  He mewed, startling Hugs.  Hugs backed up, staring.  Cautiously, he tapped Night's backend then stopped when Night mewed in protest again.

Ashton chuckled softly as he watched them. This was kind of funny.

Hugs stared at Ashton, tensing.  Whoa!  Person.  He'd forgotten this lump was a person.  Then Night wriggled around and Hugs was back to staring intently at the little black squirmy thing.  He hunkered down, sniffing.  Funny little thing.  Smelled like himself and smelled like the person thing.
"What are you doing over there?" Lex grumbled crankily, peering at Ashton and barely awake.

"This big cat send amazed at Night." Ashton answered Lex. "Their exchange is amusing."

"I thought toms like ate kittens," Lex frowned, squinting over at them.
Hug ignored the person lump thing for now, focused on trying to circle Night.  He almost stepped on Ashton's face.

Ashton sputtered. "He seems more curious than hungry right now." He said, although he kept a close eye on the bigger cat.

Hugs sat on Aston's stomach and started licking his leg. When Night mewed again, Hugs paused then tapped the top of the kitten's head with his paw. Shush!

"Apparently I'm a cat bed now." Ashton said.

"Least now you're good for somethin'," Lex grumbled, getting up stiffly and folding his blankets.

Ashton laughed a little at that and continued to watch the cats on top of him. If he had a problem with them, he would call in Shuni.

Kat woke with a yawn and immediately checked on True.

Lex went into the bathroom and started trying to tame his mop of hair.  He should cut his hair.  It was getting too long.  Maybe he would stab himself in the eye with his scissors while he was at it.  Maybe it would stop the throbbing in his head.

True smiled tightly at Kat when she woke, touching her cheek.  "Good morning," he whispered.

Kat smiled back at True. "Good morning. How are you feeling?"

"In pain," True admitted, "but not as bad as before.  Maybe just one?"

Kat nodded. "I do believe you would feel better if you took one, to try and stay on top of it. Would you like me to get a glass of water for you?" She offered.

True managed a nod.  "Yes, please."

Kat smiled and gently kissed him before she went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. "Good morning Dr. Gaster. Shuni." 

Gaster nodded a greeting to Kat. "Morning Kat."

"Good morning, Kat!" Shuni cheered, going to hug her.  "Sleep good?"
