DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Gaster was shocked. All he could think of was "thank you," which he must have told them all half a dozen times in the next five minutes as he looked at the brochure, showing it to Geena at the same time.

Geena could only stare speechlessly. When they'd gone through the brochour, she stood and went to True and Lex, pulling them into a tight hug, kissing them each on the cheek as her mascara started running. Layla and Kat were next, then Paul and Sam, Shuni, and Ashton didn't get to escape.
"I think she's happy," True grinned.

Layla laughed and gladly hugged Geena back. Paul, who loved hugs to start with, was more than glad to give and receive one from his mommy. Ashton had tried to escape, but failed and just stood there awkwardly.
Gaster went and hugged them all too, thanking each of them yet again.

While Geena had a hold of Ashton, she whispered, "Thank you. I know how hard this was for you, and I want you to know it means something to me. Thank you." She kissed his cheek then turned to hug Gaster.

Ashton just nodded awkwardly st Geena. 
Gaster smiled and hugged Geena. "Thank you all." He said again. "How many days will you be fending for yourself?" He asked.

"Dad, most of us have lived on our own fro some time before piling into your house. We'll be fine," True grinned.
"Stop worrying and go party," Lex grumbled.

Gaster smiled and awkwardly looked at Geena. "He has a point. Whenever you're ready, my dear?"

"Now is as good a time as any," Geena smiled, standing. "Kat, Layla, please keep an eye on the boys while we're gone."

(I don't remember how long they are supposed to be gone for.)

(I thought it was three or four days? XD)

Layla nodded and hugged Lex. "I'll keep extra eyes on Lex. He's the biggest troublemaker of the lot."
Kat laughed. "It won't be a problem at all, Geena." She promised.

"Thank you, my dears," Geena smiled, kissing their cheeks. She took Gaster's hand, ready to go, then paused and let go. Picking up her bouquet, she tossed it over her head to the group of children.

Kat caught the bouquet before it smacked her in the face. Layla giggled at the event and winked at Kat, which made her blush a bit.
Gaster chuckled softly, having watched it. "Kat caught it." He whispered to Geena.

"Good. Now let's go!" she whispered back, a satisfied smile on her lips. She gathered up her bronze skirts and hurried to the car, eager to get to a place a bit more private.
True blushed a bit when he saw Kat catch the bouquet and smiled privately.

(It's raining here now :3 sounds pretty on the roof)

Gaster smiled and opened the car door for Geena when they got there.
Kat was blushing too, and just tried to get Layla to stop teasing her about it.

(That's good.)

Geena slipped into the car and gave the others one last wave before sitting back. Free at last!

"Well, we'd best get this cleaned up and head home," True said. "It's getting late and hot."

Gaster  smiled and started the car. "What is the address again please?" He asked Geena.

Paul immediately volunteered to help, and Sam, Kat, and Layla soon joined in. Ashton hesitated a couple of moments before he jumped in to gather stuff to carry back.

Geena read the address off the brochure and directed him as best she could.

True loaded up as much as he could on his chair, knowing it was easier for him to carry stuff on his lap or hanging from the handles than for the others to carry it. Lex got the final basket and gathered everyone together. "Come on. It's time to head home."

Paul cheered and held Kat's hand as they walked. "So since mommy and daddy got married, now you and True have to get married too, and then Lex and Layla!" He said with utmost confidence, which got Kat to blush. Layla just considered the notion with a wicked smile on her face.

"Uh-huh, we'll get right on that, Puppy," Lex said dryly while True just laughed.
Shuni was tired and walked between Sam and Ashton in silence. He was passed ready to be home.

Paul seemed excited at that. 
Sam noticed how quiet Shuni was. "You okay Shuni?" He asked the other boy.
Ashton just couldn't wait to get home. He was anxious to try and find Tramp. Ashton had waited, like Lex had asked.

"I'm tired," Shuni said, tugging on his hat strings. "Mommy and Daddy come back, right? In a couple of days?"

Sam nodded. "Yup. Usually newlywed couples take a vacation to themselves, but they always come back."

"Okay," Shuni said softly.
Lex opened the door and held it for everyone to go inside. "Come on. Sooner we get stuff cleaned up, sooner we can get out of these clothes!"

Paul raced in and started to get water for dishes before he helped put them in the sink. Kat went over and helped him, and Layla put the uneaten leftovers in the fridge.
Ashton slipped upstairs and got into other clothes. He planned on slipping out before Lex figured out what he was doing. He of course wanted Lex along, but this also felt like something Ashton needed to do alone.

Lex let Ashton get a head start, pretending to be focused on helping put things in order. Then he followed Ashton up and leaned in the doorway. "You wouldn't be thinking of leaving without me, would you?"

(Got a plan that requires Ashton be home this evening.)

Ashton sighed. He should have known better than to try and outsmart the one guy who knew what Ashton was thinking before he thought it half the time. "You're needed here more." Ashton pointed out. "Besides, if it was Layla, would you really want me tagging along behind?"
