DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

(I have made it hard to not love Paul, haven't I? XD)

Paul smiled and gladly talked with Geena. The little boy liked her a lot. She was a nice lady. "Miss Geena?" He says after a bit. "Can I ask you a question now please?"

(Completely incapable of disliking him.)

"Of course!" Geena answered.  "You can ask me anything you like."

"When are you going to marry my daddy?" Paul asked innocently.

Gaster's face turned red when Paul asked that.

Geena chuckled, her cheeks pinkening.  "That depends on when he asks me.  When is he going to ask me to marry him?"

"I don't know." Paul said. "Daddy was looking at rings when we went shopping yesterday."

"Paul!" Gaster said. His face was very red now.

Geena glanced at him, a faint smirk on her lips.  "Oh was he now?  Do you think he has good taste in rings?"

Paul smiled excitedly and innocently. "Yeah! He liked one that had three little diamonds on it. One in the middle, and then two smaller ones beside that."

Gaster was beyond embarrassed now.

"They do say diamonds are a girl's best friend, but do you want to know a secret?" Geena asked, pretending Gaster wasn't there.

Paul nodded. "Yeah! I can keep a secret, Miss Geena!" He said excitedly.

"I like emeralds better than diamonds," she said in a stage whisper.  "Is that terrible?"

Paul shook his head. "No. I like The pink and purple ones best."

"The purple ones are my second favorite," Geena agreed.  "When you grow up, is that what you are going to get your girl?"

Paul giggled. "Maybe. I don't know yet."

"You have plenty of time for that," Geena confirmed.  "I don't think I've met your kitten.  What's his name?"

Paul grinned brightly. "It's a her! Her name is Bitty Kitty, and she's my best cat friend!"

"She is adorable!  Just like you," Geena told him.
"Home!" Shuni cheered, going to open the door for them.

Paul beamed at Geena before he turned to Gaster. "Can Miss Geena stay for dinner? Please please please pleeeeaaaaaase?"

Gaster chuckled. "Only if she wants to. I have to run back to the lab and pick up Sam really quick, but you are free to stay for dinner, Geena. We were going to have a build your own taco night."

"I haven't done anything like that in years!  Very well, I'll stay," Geena agreed, laughing.  "Especially since you said please."

Paul cheered happily and darted off to do his homework.

Gaster chuckled. "I'll be right back." He promised. He kissed Geena's cheek before he left to get Sam.

Geena smiled happily and sat to watch Paul and the others.

Shuni got Night's food ready and brought it to Ashton right as the timer went off.

Ashton thanked Shuni and fed the kitten. He was tense. Ashton wasn't sure about him eating dinner with Geena. He was still pretty self conscious about eating in front of people, although he was getting a little better.

Paul hummed as he did his homework. The kid looked pretty happy. After his homework was done, Paul decided to draw. He wanted to make a picture for Miss Geena.

Shuni noticed his tension and suddenly leaned forward to hug Ashton.  "If she doesn't understand, she's not worth it," he whispered.

Geena was attempting to make conversation with Lex.  Talking with the elder redhead, she decided, was worse than teenagers at the cafe.  He seemed to communicate in monosyllables and shrugs.

Ashton still wasn't a very touchy person. "I'll eat after she leaves." He murmured to Shuni.

Shuni shook his head.  "You eat with us.  You are family.  Please?"

Ashton still hesitated.
