DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Lex paused in the middle of lifting the cigarette to his mouth.  "Hell yes."

Ashton thought. "Were you thinking of a cool sounding name in general, or just something different?"

Lex shrugged.  "I don't know.  Different.  Something that's me and not him."

Ashton thought for a long moment. "Hmmm... what about Xenan? I always thought that was a cool sounding name, and it's a different one too."

"What the heck is a Xenan?" Lex frowned.  "Sounds kind of like Xena, and I'm no warrior princess."

Ashton shrugged. "Just a name I remember hearing." He thought a moment. "You like of look like a James, if you wanted to go that route." He offered.

"I look like a James?  Really?" Lex asked curiously.

Ashton shrugged. "It's a name that could be very classy, or the name of a bad a--. It's a malleable name. And You've always seemed kind of classy to me. If you can get it, you prefer the best." He smiled a little.

Lex considered, taking a couple of drags.  "Huh.  James.  Not bad, I suppose.  James... Gaster?  Do I really want to be a Gaster?  Changing the first name, might as well go all the way, but.. Gaster?"

Ashton shrugged again. "You can change it to something other than Gaster." He laughed a little. "You think Graves is my actual last name? S'far as I can say, you can be whatever you want."

"I never thought about your name," Lex shrugged.  "What is it?"

"Ashton Graves, unless you mean my birth name." Ashton said.

"Your birth name," Lex said, waving his hand and trailing smoke.  "I showed you mine.  Let's see yours."

"Akihito Somnus." Ashton said. "I know, sounds Asian."

"It does," Lex agreed with a faint smile.  "Kind of like Shuni's name.  Maybe you share a similar Asian heritage or something.  I don't know.  But it's a cool name, Ak."

"If you want to get technical, a majority of all humans are Asian or Asian descent." Ashton said, and wrinkled his nose. "I'd rather you call me Ashton or Ash, and I only let you call me Ash because I don't usually like being called that."

"M'kay.  Same reason?" Lex asked, dropping the cigarette butt and grinding it out.

"Remember what I said about my parents?" Ashton said as he gave Lex a sidelong glance. "Yeah, same reason."

"James Graves," Lex tried out.  "I don't know that I feel like a James."

Ashton laughed a little. "Don't know why you would want Graves as a last name either. And it was an idea was all."

Lex shrugged.  "You're stuck with me like a brother.  Might as well share your name."

Ashton smiled and laughed a little at that. "Okay. So first name still...."

"Shea Primus," Lex said suddenly.  "How's that sound?  Go by Primus, but have an official sounding name for the government junk."

"Shea almost sounds like a girls name." Ashton retorted. "But if it makes you happy, go for it. Personally, I don't know how I like Primus as a name, but if you like it, hey."

"It's better than James or being all ashy," Lex shot back, brushing a hand through Ashton's hair.
