DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

True smiled as he fell asleep. Soon he began to dream. Of a family that wasn't his own, and yet somehow was. He was a renowned artist, but left alone, surrounded not by fans and cameras, but by his little brothers, all three of them, and his Father.

In the morning, the smell of biscuits and sausage gravy woke everyone up. Gaster had been making breakfast for everyone.

True winced, the part of his back he could feel twinging. Apparently his back didn't like this couch. "Sam?" he called, pushing himself up on one arm.

Gaster looked over to True. "Sam is still sleeping, True. Do you need anything?"

"Transport from couch to chair?" he asked. "I can't manage at this angle unless I do a lot of floor crawling, and that doesn't appeal. When was the last time you vacuumed?"

Gaster smiled and shook his head before coming over. "Two days ago, True. Two days ago." He adjusted where True's chair was and helped his son into it.

"Doesn't show it," True ribbed, getting situated in his chair. "Thank you."

"Oh hush. I have three boys and a full time job. Be glad it's not dirtier." Gaster said before going back to make sure nothing burned in the kitchen, taking hot biscuits out of the oven.

True snickered, a warm glow in his heart at the number of boys he'd listed. He rolled into the kitchen slowly. "I'll come back home after my dose and clean up the place."

Gaster shook his head. "You don't have to do that. Just enjoy your day. Besides, hopefully soon we will be moving anyway, and that can stir up a lot of dust."

True hesitated then shrugged. "Okay, sure. Need any help with breakfast?"

"I'll need help eating it. I'll get more help awake." Gaster said, and headed for the stairs. "Actually, would you please get plates out?"

"I can manage that, I think," True said, cracking a grin. He could barely reach the plates, but got them down without breaking anything. He set everything out and waited patiently.

Sam walked down, followed by Gaster carrying a cuddly Paul. The young boy was still waking up some. "Thank you, True." Gaster said as he seated Paul and served everyone.

"Welcome. Morning, sleepyhead," he smiled, ruffling Paul's hair gently.

Paul smiled and giggled softly before he dug into his food. He had an awful case of bedhead.

True finished his breakfast then set about fussing over Paul's hair, trying to get it at least manageable. "You look almost ready to get a haircut, Rapunzel," he teased gently.

Paul giggled a little, both at the comment and because it tickled when True messed with his hair. Gaster chuckled. "I'll set up an appointment after we move for a hair stylist."

"Maybe you should go wolverine," True told him, pulling his hair into twin points. "Or old school ganster." He pulled Paul's hair straight back in a slick style. "Or how about a buzz cu?"

Paul just giggled as True played with his hair. Gaster chuckled. "We can see later. Sam,Paul, get ready to go. Paul, get your bag together for school."

True gave Paul one last ruffle then released him to go get ready for school.

Paul scampered off to get ready with a smile. Sam didn't dart off like his younger brother, but still smiled and went to get ready. Gaster collected the dishes and washed them while the boys were getting ready.

True leaned back, closing his eyes for a moment. "Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet!"

Gaster laughed softly. "The growth charts show that Paul will grow up to be tall, perhaps taller than me."

"That's a tall boy," True chuckled. "Hey, what was their mother like?"
