DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Burgers sound awesome!" True agreed heartily.  "Looks like you and Kity boy there had a good time."  He grinned, watching Shuni as the smaller boy proudly displayed his hat to Paul.  "Good pick there."

Gaster smiled. "That hat was too perfect for him that I couldn't pass it up." He chuckled. He started to lead the way to the lab. Paul followed and asked Shuni how his day was.

Shuni was shy but excited and his eyes shown as he timidly told Paul everything that had happened that day.  He pulled out his shirt to show it and displayed how his pants weren't too long or too short, but his favorite was still clearly his hat.

"So where are we going after we pick up Sam?" True asked.

Paul was very happy for his friend. Paul complimented his clothes and hat.

Gaster smiled and told True the name of a sit down restaurant known for it's burgers, but had some other things on the menu as well.

"I've seen that place," True confirmed.  "If it's as good as it smells, we should be in good hands."

Gaster smiled. "I hope so. We shall certainly see, yes?"

"So, uh, what's going on for this week?" True asked as casually as he could. "Any special plans?"

"Other than getting Shuni and the cats settled in more, Not really." Gaster replied. "Do you have any suggestions for plans?"

True shook his head. "No, I was just seeing if I needed to plan my plans around."

Gaster nodded. They reached the lab and he went downstairs to fetch Sam. Paul was still talking happily with Shuni.

Shuni was quiet, listening avidly to Paul.

Paul told Shuni everything the little guy did that day with True. He had a blast from the sounds of it, as well as how animated he was when he spoke.

True listened with half an ear, trying to decide where to take Kat for dinner.

Gaster returned with Sam after a few moments. "Shall we be off?"

"Yes we shall!" True said cheerfully. "Do you want to ride, Paul?"

Paul smiled and cheered excitedly before climbing onto True's lap.

True laughed and made sure he was settled before wheeling off quickly.

Shuni watched curiously. "That is okay? To sit on him?"

"True is all right with it, and it doesn't hurt him." Gaster explained. "He invited Paul to sit on him, and that makes it okay. But I would not recommend it unless True tells you otherwise."

Paul laughed happily.

"Oh,I understand," Shuni nodded. "I thought chair crips not like that."

Luckily, True didn't hear Shuni's innocent use of the slur, involved iin pretending he was a motorcycle for Paul.

Gaster gently told Shuni quietly to try and not use that terms around True, since it is a little mean and offensive to call someone that, and it was fine only if the person gave permission.

"I'm sorry," Shuni whispered, flinching away. He hadn't meant to offend. He had no idea it was a bad word! He resolved to remember and do better.

Gaster put a hand on Shuni's shoulder. "It's all right. You didn't know, so I told you so you would know. No harm was done, so long as you learn it. Does that make sense?"

Shuni smiled timidly and nodded. "Thank you for splaining things."

Gaster smiled back. "But of course. I hope you can learn and grow, and I would be honored to help you grow as a person and learn more."

"No one ever treat me like you," Shuni said softly.
