DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

True glanced at her hopefully. "Yeah, I would love to be friends, if that's okay."

Kat smiled at him. She seemed to be getting less red now. "Do, uh, you want to come over and hang out for a little bit? Or do you want to keep walking around?"

"It's late, we should probably think about getting off the streets," True said with an answering smile. "I'll walk you home."

Kat nodded and walked with him towards her apartment. "Besides, uh, that, I had a lot of fun this evening." She told him.

"Good, so did I," True smiled. "Thank you for coming tonight."

"Thank you for inviting me." Kat replied. Once at her building, she invited True in.

True hesitated then nodded. "Okay." He followed her up quietly.

Kat noticed how quiet he was. "Everything okay?" She asked as she unlocked her door.

"What?" He looked up at her and nodded. "Yeah, sorry, everything's fine." He followed her in, glancing around. "Looks good. You cleaned today."

Kat nodded. "It had to be done." She put her keys and hat down, and took off her shoes. "Make yourself at home. If you want, we could play a video game or watch something on TV."

"What do you want to do?" True asked, rolling over the rug a couple of times.

Kat shrugged. "I don't care. We could sit and talk too."

"That'd be cool," True agreed, rolling toward the couch. "Tell me about yourself?"

Kat smiled and sat on the couch. "Well, what do you want to know?"

"Everything," Tru said honestly. "What's your favorite kind of food?"

Kat smiled. "I have a weakness for junk food, pasta, and sweets. What about you?"

"Pizza. I Love pizza," True grinned. "Favorite color?"

"Either Violet or dark blue. You?" Kat said with a smile.

"Purple, deep purple," True replied. "Favorite junk food?"

Kat thought for a moment. "I really like a lot of deep fried stuff. Funnel cake, mushrooms, veggies...."

"Cotton candy, the fresh made kind, not the store bought stuff," True grinned.

"Mmmm," Kat said with a smile. "That stuff is so good. I love how it dissolves in your mouth when you eat it."

"It's like sugar water," True chuckled. He continued the game of "What's your favorite..." with Kat, not noticing the time. He just liked being with her.

Kat didn't mind either. True was an easy person to like and be around. She finally looked at the time and raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Good lord! It's nearly one."

True jumped, craning around to see the clock. "Oh crap, I have got to get back and sleep!" He paused, thinking out loud. "I said I was going to the Lab, but home is closer..." He frowned, sorting things in his head. Nah, he'd go to the lab. Turning to Kat, he smiled and gave her a bow. "Thank you for the best night I've ever had, Kat."
