DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Morning," True yawned. "I woke up early and didn't have anything else to do, so..." She shrugged and waved a spatula at his pancake mixings. There were three different kinds of batter.

"Want some help?" Sam offered. "Dad and Paul are still sleeping."

"Sure. I think we are going to need a lot of plates. And hand towels," True said, looking around. "Maybe I kind of overdid it..."

Sam laughed. "We'll see. I can get the plates, and how many towels do you think you'll need?"

"One per plate," True answered, whisking the batter to the apple cider pancakes. "Could you preheat the oven for me, please?"

Sam got the plates and towels out. He then went to the oven. "To what temperature?" He asked.

"Just put it on low so it will keep the cooked pancakes warm, but not cook them more," True told him. "If you have any kind of funny shapes or molds, do you want to use those?"

Sam nodded and set the oven. "I don't think we do. Dad usually just makes Micky Mouse heads, just not on purpose when he does."

True snickered and shook his head. "Okay, got any tinfoil? If we fold long strips to make them thick and strong, we can use those to make shapes. Other than Mickey Mouse. I'll go ahead and start on making those."

Sam got out the tinfoil and helped True make long strips with it. "What kind of shapes are you going to make?"

"What kind would you like?" he asked. "Stars, snowmen, gingerbread peoples..."

Sam shrugged. "What about just squares? All classic pancakes are circles, so no circles, but squares this time?"

True thought about that. "That's perfect! Great idea. Okay, I'll make a few Mouse's while you make some squares, okay?"

Sam smiled and went to work. He was careful to make near perfect squares for True to use before he handed the molds to True.

"Thank you, Sam," True said, flipping four mickey mouse pancakes onto a plate. "There's out mice, the rest... Let's see what we can make out of squares!" The finished pancakes he put in the oven wrapped in a towel to stay warm. The squares he started with a square mickey mouse, getting Sam involved in the process of creating pancake shapes.

Sam seemed interested and engaged, and helped as much as he could. A yawning Paul came down partway through them making pancakes, having smelled food.

True glanced at him and grinned. "Good morning, you! Want to get out the stuff for pancake toppings?"

"Okay." Paul said mellowly. He got out chocolate syrup, whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, butter, syrup, and sprinkles.

"Now all we need is Dad and someone to lick the bowls," True said, scraping the last of the chocolate chip pancake batter into the pan.

Sam offered to get Gaster up, and Paul offered to clean the bowls. Sam went upstairs to get his dad up.

"Have at it," True chuckled, handing the three bowls over. They were pretty cleaned out, but there was still a fair amount in each.

Paul happily tried each batter, and cleaned up each bowl. Sam came down with Gaster after a couple minutes. His eyebrows went up. "True, did you make all this? What time is it even?"

True glanced at the clock. "9:30, give or take? And yeah, I did. Wasn't doing anything else this morning. So! What we've got here is apple cider pancakes, chocolate chip, and the lightest and fluffiest sourdough you've ever tasted!" First he put the four Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes at each place.

Gaster thanked True and got milk out for everyone before he sat down and tried a bite. "Wow. These are amazing, True." Gaster complimented. Paul gave his compliments by swiftly getting done with his first pancake and asking for more politely.

True grinned, glancing at Sam, then opened the oven and pulled out the plates full of square pancakes. "Have as many as you want!"
