DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Megamind! I love that movie!" True cheered, waving Paul's hand around as though he were voting for it, too.

Paul giggled and Sam smiled as he put the movie in. He then hopped on the couch beside True and ate his ice cream.

(Lol one of my top three favorite kids movie XD)

True grinned and slowly ate his ice cream, occasionally stealing a bite from the other two ice creams. "Yours taste better than mine," he said, subtly shifting so he could see the clock.

It was nearly eight thirty. Paul had clearly started to get tired, being pretty cuddly now against True.

True was only too happy to cuddle, but finally he paused the movie and murmured to Paul, "You and Sam need to go scrub your teeth and get ready for bed. Then we'll finish the movie, okay?"

Paul yawned and nodded. He and Sam did what true told them and got in their pjs and brushed their teeth before heading back down. Paul cuddled right back up net to True. Sam cuddled a little too.

True put an arm around both of them, holding them close. He didn't send them to bed, just held them. He didn't want them to be alone just yet. If they all three fell asleep on the couch, what would be the harm?

Paul was the first to konk out, snuggled and cuddled close to true. Sam saw to the end of the movie, but he was barely keeping his eyes open at that point.

"Sleep," True murmured to Sam. "I'll keep watch."

Sam nodded and gradually fell asleep. Both boys clearly trusted True, and felt safe with him.

True stayed awake all through the night, waiting. Waiting.

It gradually grew to be morning, and there was nothing. It soon became time that the boys should start getting up and Paul get gotten to school.

True waited as long as he could, but finally sighed and nudged the pair. "Hey, you two. Time to get up."

Sam groaned, mumbling for five more minutes. Paul on the other hand sat up some. He yawned and rubbed his eyes.

True wriggled his arm. "I already gave you five minutes, Sam. Come on, up we go. Paul, go ahead and get dressed, okay?"

Paul nodded and headed upstairs. Sam groaned. "I don't wanna get up. Not until dad's back."

"I think he'll be more impressed if you are up," True pointed out. "Up. Paul's got school."

Sam rubbed his eyes and got up. He wasn't smiling. He cleared had smiled so Paul would be happier. Sam slowly went upstairs to get ready.

True sighed and winced as he worked his way back into his chair. Once settled, he went about getting breakfast and lunches set up, figuring leftover pizza would be good and adding some juice and an apple each. There!

Paul came downstairs. He smiled at True and asked what was for breakfast cheerfully. Sam took a bit longer to come down. He was carrying a folder.

"Eggs and toast. What's the folder for?" True asked Sam.

"Oh, just something I thought you might want to see later." Sam said cryptically. Paul happily and blissfully ate his breakfast, ready to tackle the day head on.

True gave him a puzzled look then shrugged. "Eat up. We're going to walk Paul to school, drop by the lab, then I'm going to go see some friends." Visit the police and see what was going on, but Paul didn't need to know.

Paul beamed at True. "I hope you have fun with your friends!" He said cheerily. Sam ate just a little bit and put his dishes in the sink with Paul's.

True patted Sam's shoulder. "Go get your teeth brushed. We gotta go or we'll be late."
