DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

True smiled and caught her hand in his.  "I love you, Kat.  Forever and always."

Kat smiled and kissed him on the lips again.

True smiled and reached up as though to draw her close.  At the last minute, he drew his fingers along her sides, tickling her.

Kat yelped and jumped as he tickled her. "Jerk!" She teased and laughed. "Don't start something you can't finish!"

True grinned and flexed his fingers.  "Or are you just scared to fight against a handicapped person?  Scared I'll get the best of you?"

Lex checked the time and called Ashton to a halt.  "The Mad Doc and his horde should be getting home soon.  Wanna help me make something eatable for them for when they get here?"

Kat looked mock offended. "Me? Scared, of you? Never!" She started to tickle True.

Ashton nodded. "Sure. If you want, I can cook and you can taste test." He offered. He knew he potentially signed himself up to do all the work, but he didn't mind.

True laughed but eagerly ticked her back as best he could without twisting.

"You got a deal," Lex agreed, heading downstairs.

Kat laughed and tried to stay out of his reach. She wound up straddling his legs, which provided both with good access to all the ticklish spots.

Ashton laughed and followed him. "Do you think the bandages could come off so I can cook? Or at least made not so much like catcher's mits?"

True couldn't stop laughing as he tickled her back.  "How dare you!  You torturous tormenter!"

"Sure.  Let's take a look at your hands and let's see how they look," Lex said.

Kat laughed and laughed. She kept trying to avoid his "attacks" while tickling him more than he was tickling her.

Ashton nodded and offered his still bandaged hands to Lex once they were downstairs and in a good spot to check such things.

Lex rolled his eyes when he heard the laughter echoing from the other room and focused on Ashton's hands.  "I think they'll be okay to cook with," he finally decided.

Ashton nodded. "Now then... what should I make? Chicken alfredo?"

Lex shrugged.  "You're the chef.  Chef chooses."

"How about chicken alfredo." Ashton said more certainly. He got out and diced the chicken before he fried it up with olive oil, salt, and pepper. "Taste test please?"

Lex handed Ashton things and mostly stayed out of the way.  Obediently, he tasted the meat.  "Dash more salt and it's good."

Ashton nodded and did as Lex suggested before he set that aside and boiled the noodles while he made the alfredo sauce. He asked Lex to taste the sauce several different times while he made it.

Lex made his comments while taste testing, doing his best to think of everyone and not just himself.  When he felt the sauce was good, he gave Ashton a nod.

Ashton combined everything just before Gaster and crew returned.

Shuni sniffed appreciatively.  "Smells yummy!!"

"Well, if it didn't kill Lex, at least it's edible." Ashton said. "Shuni, wanna help us set the table?"

Paul and Sam went to get ready for dinner. Paul grinned and laughed as he normally does.

Lex elbowed Ashton and started cleaning up.
"Okay!" Shuni agreed, brightening at being allowed to interact with his brother.

Ashton laughed at Lex's elbowing. "What?" He asked Lex as he handed Shuni the plates.

Gaster noticed the new staircase and walked over to it, observing the design and structure and how it connected with the existing house.He merely wanted to double check and make sure it was all stable. "I can see if I can take a half day off tomorrow and help you boys install some windows." He offered.

"I have some taste," Lex grumbled.  "I think we're good, Doc.  We haven't gotten to windows yet, but if we need help, we'll give you a yell.  You might want to be home just to babysit those two."  He jerked his head toward True's room.
Shuni took the plates with great care and started setting the table.

Gaster raised an eyebrow. "What have they been doing?"

Ashton followed his little brother with the pot of chicken alfredo. After that was on the table, he got some raw chicken for himself and put it where he was going to sit.

"I'm afraid to find out, but there was a lot of giggling going on," Lex grumbled.

True was exhausted from playing around with Kat.  He lay limp, holding her in his arms and breathing in her scent.
