DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

[Dark Silence]

Gaster nodded. "Do you want help bringing anything else in or are you good to get the rest yourself?"

[SilentVoice]

"I can get the rest," True assured him. "Thanks for helping with the matress."

[Dark Silence]

Gaster nodded. "No problem at all. I am going to start setting up Sam, Paul, and my beds now." He stood and walked out a little stiffly. It was a lot of lifting, and it bothered his back some, but he didn't complain. He was almost done anyway.

[SilentVoice]

True paused, watching him. "Can I help, Dad?"

[Dark Silence]

"Unless you want to lift mattresses and bed frames, I am afraid not." Gaster said. He did the work without complaining still. It would make his family happy, and thus him happy as well once it was over and done.

True winced, wishing he could help, but he knew he couldn't. So he went back to his room and started putting things together. To make his bed, he had to sit on the floor and scoot his butt around the whole way until all the corners were even... three times. Then came the pillows, which he arranged with great exactness, his rug going down last since he couldn't scoot over it easy. At last, he finished and rolled into Paul's room to see if there was anything he could do to help there.

[Dark Silence]

Gaster had set up the bed but hadn't made it yet. The same was true with Sam's. Gaster had just gotten his own bed on the bed frame.

(I don't know what you had in mind for the lady for Gaster, but if he threw out his back while moving, would it help in encountering this woman?)

[SilentVoice]

(I was planning on them meeting in a diner, actually)

True grinned at having something to do to help and made Paul's bed then Sam's, making it up as neatly as he could.

[Dark Silence]

(Okay. Gaster won't throw out his back then )

After he got his bed on the frame, Gaster exhaled and just laid on the bare mattress for a while. It hurt in a good way to straighten out his back and lay down.

[SilentVoice]

(Might make it awkward getting there...)

At last, True made it to Gaster's room. He looked at his dad a moment and then rolled forward and started taking off his boots.

[Dark Silence]

(Lol. I am okay with awkward XD)

Gaster had actually fallen asleep in spite of himself. When the doctor slept he looked... lonely. He didn't wake as True moved around, having been bone tired when he unintentionally fell asleep.

[SilentVoice]

(Wrong kind of awkward )

True sighed, pulling the comforter over Gaster. "Sleep well. You deserve to rest," he said softly. Turning, he wheeled out, checking the time. Time to go get Paul and Sam! He wrote a note, just in case Gaster woke, leaving it on the table for him to find. That settled, he headed for the Lab to pick up Sam then go get Paul. Maybe he would make tacos tonight. Did they have meat? If not, he could do a meatless taco.

[Dark Silence]

When True got to the lab, am was actually helping Ally in the lab to run some tests and help on her projects. "Oh!" Dr. Ally said in surprise when she saw True. "H-hey Tr-True. H-how's it b-been?"

[SilentVoice]

*poke*

True grinned as he raised his hand in the Vulcan "live long and prosper." "It's been good, Ally. How about with you? I'm just here to pick up Sam on my way to get Paul."

[Dark Silence]

"Oh, r-right." Ally said. Sam finished up what he had been doing and got ready to go. "H-how is D-Dr. G-Gaster?" Ally asked. She noticed her boss wasn't with True. Sam stood beside his brother, ready to go.

[SilentVoice]

"Worn out from moving and passed out on the bed," True chuckled. "I figured just this one time wouldn't hurt. You wanna come over for tacos tonight? It's nothing fancy, we aren't even fully unpacked, but you're welcome!"

[Dark Silence]

Ally stammered a thanks but politely declined. She had some tests she had to stay late for and run and see before she got to go home.

[SilentVoice]

"Okay, have fun!" True told her, waving goodbye. "Ready to go, Sam?"

[Dark Silence]

Sam smiled and nodded. "Did you find some cool stuff?" He asked as they walked to Paul's school. He had heard that Gaster was going to take True shopping for stuff for his room.

[SilentVoice]

"I did!" True said with a grin. "It's pretty fantastic, and your room ain't too shabby, either! Hey, do you think Dad'll let us paint out rooms?"

[Dark Silence]

Sam grins. "He will, as long as we don't make a mess or destroy anything."

[SilentVoice]

"I won't make any promises on the mess," True chuckled, pulling up before the school and setting his break. "What would you paint yours?"

[Dark Silence]

Sam shrugged. "I probably wouldn't. It's a lot of work, and I could put up and move posters to keep changing it."

[SilentVoice]

True shrugged. "Fair enough. I'd do purples. I just really like purple."

[Dark Silence]

Sam smiled. "I like dark blue. Paul's favorites are red and sunset orange." Right after Sam said that, school was let out. As usual, Paul said by to Ariel before tackling True in a hug.
