DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Ashton nodded. "Certainly." He sat on the toilet after he put the seat back down.

Chris began stripping slowly and folded his clothes neatly before placing them on the counter.  Gripping the railings tightly, he stepped into the shower and gave an audible groan as the warm water cascaded over his body.

Ashton smiled a little faintly. "So... what do you think you're going to do now?" He asked curiously. "Now that you have a chance to do whatever."

"I don't know," Chris said, scrubbing his hair with shampoo.  "I've never had a chance to be anything, so... now that I can be anything, I have no idea.  What do you think I could do?"

Ashton thought on that for a few moments. "Hmm... what are you good at?"

Chris leaned out of the shower, hair still dripping suds, just to look at Ashton with an expression that said, "Really?"

Ashton rolled his eyes. "Other than your... previous occupation I mean. Like are you good at building things, music.... what?"

"Um."  Chris disappeared into the shower.  "I can dance!  And kind of tinker things into rightness.  Usually.  Or I break them worse.  I don't know what else I can be good at."

"Think you could be a dance instructor?" Ashton suggested.

Chris answered that with a laugh.  "No.  I can't teach stuff like that."  He sat down on the tiled floor and scrubbed his feet as the water kept him warm and wet.

"Hmmmm...." Ashton pondered a bit more. "You do a good job of finding stuff to look good in... maybe a clothes designer? Or jewelry?"

"Isn't the fashion industry a little... cliche... for someone of my kind of sexual tastes?" Chris asked, trying to find something else to scrub just so he could stay in longer.

Ashton's face got red. "I don't know." He said honestly. "I don't follow that scene."

Chris shrugged.  "I'll think about it."  He struggled to get up but found his legs wouldn't hold him.  Oh well.  He sat in the shower soaking up the warm moisture.  "Ashton?  What do you do?"

"Nothing yet." He said truthfully. "I know I am not good with computers. I have always been more of a hands on kind of guy though."

"You make a very good nurse," Chris smiled.  "Um, speaking of, could you maybe help me out?  I'm stuck."

Ashton nodded and tried his best to help Chris. "Not really. Most of what I know is either because of Lex, because of me, or both."

"Oh."  Chris was in a sudden dilema.  Ashton's hands felt very good on his slick body.  Very good.  And those muscles...  He focused on the ache in his bones.  Yeah, the pain in his knees.  Anything!  He greabbed his pants first and began the bothersome process of putting them on.  "Back to bed?"

Ashton nodded. "If you want. Wanna see how Bobo is doing first?"

Chris brightened.  "I can see him?  Yes, please."

Ashton smiled. "Last I saw him, he was snoozing in the living room." He helped Chris get all decent before aiding him in seeing the big puppy.

True was in the living room with Bobo, keeping an eye on the puppy.  Chris didn't notice him.  He walked straight passed him and dropped to his knees.  "Bobo!"
Bobo lifted his head and went ballistic!  His whole body wriggled in excitement, his tail beating the floor, and his tongue trying to lick any part of Chris he could reach.  Chris giggled happily and hunched over the dog, showering him with attention.

Ashton smiled and stopped beside True. "How's things been recently?"

"So far so good," True smiled.  "Things have been a lot better for me than you."

"How so?" Ashton asked curiously. "I heard you went on, as Layla phrased it, a steamy hot date with Kat."
