DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Yay!" Shuni cheered.

True looked at Kat.  "I think I should hang out at home today and keep Geena company.  Would you like to join me, or did you have other plans?"

Kat smiled. "I would love to. Maybe we could ask her to sound board a few of our ideas?" She suggested.

"I like that idea," True smiled.  "What are your plans today, Ashton?"

"I have a few errands to run." Ashton told True, smiling a little. "Should be back before Paul gets picked up."

"Cool, see you then," True smiled, turning toward home.

Kat smiled and walked with True, asking what songs he thought Geena's advice could be most used on.

Ashton split from them and walked to a few different dance halls to talk to the people there about a couple different issues.

No one could answer Ashton's questions about Tramp.  A few remembered him working his usual corner the night before, but none could say where he was since dawn.  No one had seen him or his fluffy pup.

Ashton frowned and checked the warehouse. Perhaps he was in there repairing things?

The warehouse was empty.  Stripped bare of anything that revealed anyone had been there even a few days before.  All that was left were a couple of buttons, the odd loose end, and in a back corner a chew toy for a large dog.  Nothing.

Ashton searched the place thoroughly, concerned now, and pocketed the chew toy.

(Now he is wanted to check the place Tramp had been calling home the last time they talked.... ;-; )

Very worried now, Ashton went as fast as he could without drawling suspicion to the only other spot he could think of that Tramp might be. He slipped into the building he and Tramp had a drink together just the day before, praying his friend was there.

Again, empty.  The box and bedding was still there, as was a single unbroken empty bottle, but there was no sign of Tramp anywhere.

Ashton was very concerned now. He checked how much cash he had and went back to the streets, into the shady allyways to a couple different guys he knew he could trust. Some people made money selling drugs, others made money giving please, but these guys dealt in being ears. They lived and worked to be informants. And now, Ashton paid them to keep an ear out for Tramp, and to let him know if they heard anything. After that, he headed home, taking the long way to think and try to lessen his worry.

Meanwhile, Geena was greatly enjoying her time with True and Kat, listening to their ideas with great joy.

Kat seemed to have warmed up and taken a strong liking to Geena. She smiled and listened to the older woman happily to her opinions and wrote them down to reference later if need be.

True and Geena looked up when Ashton came in.  True grinned and called, "Hey, Ashton!  How did things go?  Night won't stop mewing, by the way."

"Huh?" Ashton asked. "Oh, I'll go and quiet him. sorry." He scurried upstairs without another word, still worried about Tramp.

True frowned.  "It didn't go well, I take it."

Night heard Ashton coming and doubled his cries.

Kat sighed a little. "He seems to be an emotional roller coaster these past several days."

Ashton grumbled at his kitten as he picked Night up, complaining to him about how loud he was.

"Maybe he finally found himself a girl," True suggested with a little smile.
"Perhaps," Geena agreed calmly, "but there's no need to bother him about it until he's ready to talk."
"Yes, ma'am," True agreed meekly.

Night purred, wildly trying to get closer to Ashton, headbutting him gently.

Kat smiled and started talking to Geena and True about a duet idea she had.
Treble decided she wanted to be part of everything too, and jumped up on True's lap, purring proudly of herself as she found a comfy spot on his lap to settle down on.

Ashton showered the little spoiled kitten in attention, although he was very worried about Tramp.

True smiled and stroked Treble gently.  She was a good kitten.

Night reached up and gently patted Ashton's nose.  "Mew?" he asked.  What was wrong?

Treble purred even louder. She rubbed her head against True's hand, and kneaded her front paws happily.
Kat laughed a little at how happy the little cat seemed with her person.

Ashton sighed and laid down on his bed, still petting Night. He hoped Tramp was all right. Maybe trouble had found his friend, so he was lying low and on the run? Ashton desperately wanted to help.

"Ah, Treble!  You're adorable, and such a warm lap rug!" True grinned.

Night snuggled up to Ashton and began grooming him.  Poor person!
