DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

True shook his head. "I don't know. I guess.... I think I will set up an account at one of those online music places, and I am going to ask her to collaborate with me. Talk to the radio, if I can, get them to actually listen to her. They were looking down on me before I showed them what I could do. They need to do the same with her."

Gaster gave him a kind nod. "I think that would at least be a good start. I do wish you the best of luck, and if I can help, please let me know.

"Thanks, Dad. You've helped more than you could possibly know," True said with a tired smile. "Can't decide if I want to crash here or the lab. Need me out?"

Gaster shook his head. "You can always sleep here, True. Unfortunately, all I have downstairs to offer is the couch, but that will change net week." he smiled.

"Couch is good. What happens next week?" True yawned, taking off his coat and hanging it on the back of his chair. He started the annoyingly long journey from chair to couch, a journey that got longer the more tired he was.

Gaster offered to help. "Well, we move into a new house."

True almost missed the couch at that. "We do what now?"

Gaster smiled. "My offer was accepted, and we were approved to move into the house we bid on. We can start moving in as soon as next week."

"Dad! That is Awesome!" True exclaimed in a whisper to not wake the boys. His face broke into a broad grin as he pulled Gaster to him in a tight hug. "We got the house!"

Gaster chuckled and hugged True. He was glad that his son was happy, even for a few moments.

"When are you going to tell the other two?" True yawned.

"I was thinking sometime tomorrow." Gaster stood. "Well, I should let you get some sleep, shouldn't I?"

"Okay," True smiled, getting comfortable on the couch. "Thanks, Dad. For everything." He hugged one of the pillows, promptly passing out.

Gaster smiled and went upstairs. He was glad he could give True that chance. He got a wonderful son out of the deal, and True seemed to be a lot happier. And that was all Gaster could ask for right now.

True slept late, completely dead to the world.

Gaster made a late breakfast for everyone. It was French Toast with homemade berry sauce.

True started to wake with the smell of breakfast. Mmm that smelled goooood! He started to roll over, forgetting he was on a couch. "Wah!" he yelled as he tumbled off and thudded onto the floor.

Gaster rushed in, hearing the thud. "True? Is everything all right?"

"Yep. Floor just needed a hug," True groaned, his voice muffled by carpet.

Gaster walked around the couch. "Do you want a hand, or are you good?"

"Nope, I'm good." True rolled over and started getting into his chair. Or trying to as it rolled away. "Maybe a hand would be nice..."

Gaster smiled and moved his chair back and set the brake before helping get True back into his chair. "As payment, I will need your help in the kitchen."

"Seems like a fair deal to me," he agreed, getting settled. He followed his father into the kitchen and asked, "What needs doing?"

Gaster indicated to the cooling saucepan of berry sauce. "Taste that and tell me if it needs more sugar. Careful, it may still be hot."

True stirred the sauce then took a taste. "Mmm, touch more. Unless you like the slight tang."
