Kat laughed. "Oh, but going through a buffet is a walk in the park then?"

"Easily," True chuckled. "So what do you think?"

"I think I'm surprised you aren't more successful already." Kat said truthfully.

True smiled and shook his head. "I could say that about you."

Kat looked down and laughed a little. She took a bite of food to try to cover the fact she had been blushing ever so slightly.

True picked up a tiny little red thing. "What is this?" he asked, genuinely puzzled. He'd never seen a grape tomato before.

Kat swallowed. "Oh, that's a tomato. It's a fruit, but most people think it's a vegetable. It's what's in spaghetti sauce."

True gave her a quizzical look. "A tomato? This is a tiny tomato. Shrink ray, or mad scientist genetic messing?"

"There's lots of different kinds." Kat explained. "That's a grape tomato. Mostly just for eating or to put whole in salads. There's also larger tomatoes used in sauces, and even different colors. I remember one year, My family grew purple and pink tomatoes."

"Now you're just pulling my leg," True protested. "Tomatoes are red, I know that much!"

Kat smiled and pulled out her phone. She showed True pictures of different heirloom tomato plants. "See! I'm not kidding!"

True let out a low whistle. "You are making me want to grow tomatoes."

Kat laughed. "Maybe I'll buy some and you can watch them grow."

"That would be awesome," True smiled, flipped through the pictures one more time before handing back the phone. "Thank you for coming today."

Kat smiled back and pocketed her phone. "Thank you for inviting me. This is fun so far."

"What can we do to make it more fun? Start a food fight?" True grinned.

Gaster gave True a hard look. "We are not starting a food fight and getting kicked out."

Kat stifled a laugh at that. She was smiling and seemed happy and relaxed with them all.

"Yes, Dad," True agreed meekly. "No food fights or getting kicked out, got it."

"Now if you're good, we can see about getting some ice cream afterwords." Gaster prompted. Paul cheered hearing that.

True smiled. "Then I guess you' better be good and not suggest any more food fights, Kat."

Kat's jaw dropped in mock indignition. "Excuse me? I didn't suggest such a thing, True."

"Hey, I am a respectable musician, I don't start such things like food fights," he said, drawing himself up.

Kat pretended to be offended. "So I'm not a respectable musician then?"

"You, beautiful lady, are a DJ. Everyone knows DJs are less respectable than musicians," he replied, winking.

Kat was quiet a moment. She wasn't used to being complimented so smoothly. "Oh." Was all she got out at first. "But what if you are a DJ as well as a musician?"
