DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Fair enough. How about this one? He could take the bus," True suggested, pointing to a one story ranch house with a little bit of land, but a decent price tag.

"How about we keep that one in mind. We can look for something more in city perhaps?" Gaster said. He bookmarked that house and refined his search to in city.

"Are you sure? It'll have plenty of room for Shuni's cats, Paul's pony, and Sam's robots," True teased.

"Wait, since when is Paul getting a pony?!" Gaster asked.

"You mean you didn't hear?" True asked with believable confussion. "Sam, didn't you tell him about the pony?"

Sam looked at True with equal confusion as his father. "What pony?"

"The pony Paul won last time we were in the park from that raffle drawing," True prompted, hoping he'd get the hint to follow along.

Gaster shook his head before Sam could contribute. "Stop it, True."

"Stop what?" True asked, completely innocent.

Gaster smiled and rolled his eyes. He found a nice sized house that was all on one level in the suburbs just barely outside of the main part of the city. "What about this one? In the school district, but still walking distance to both the school and the lab."

True peered over his shoulder. "A fixer upper, but not in horrible disrepair. Go check it out?"

Gaster clicked on it. "One story with a large attic. That could work well. Like you said, it's not in bad shape, just needs a little love. And that price is really good for the in-town location."

"Go for it!" True urged, grinning. "Something tells me a big attic would be awesome."

Gaster smiled and placed an offer on the house. "I'll probably keep the current house and just rent it out."

"That's not a bad investment," True agreed, leaning back. "When will you know if you got it?"

Gaster checked. "Potentially tomorrow. It depends if the sellers accept my bid or not. It may take some time."

(For once, my mom's obsession with real estate and house shows has provided for something XD)

"Well, good luck to us," True smiled. "Is it time for Sam to take a break, yet? I wanted to know what he thought of this song."

Gaster nodded and checked on Sam's work. He told him that once he finished reading that chapter, he could take a break.

True set up his recording, angling it to get the best acoustics in the room, though that wasn't much.

Sam came over. "Hey. What's up? Dad said you wanted my opinion on something?"

"I was wondering what you thought of this song?" True asked, turning on the recording.

Sam smiled. He looked like he enjoyed it. "That's really good. I love it!" He said honestly.

"Yeah?" True grinned. "Good. Thank you for that. What did you think, Gaster?"

Gaster nodded. "It was very good. I'm surprised you haven't been more successful in the past."

True shrugged with a faint smile. "Thank you."
