DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Maybe even something like a receptionist would be fine until we made a breakthrough," True suggested. "At least so long as she has time to do music on the side."

"I can see if the front desk at the lab is hiring, but that's about all I can do." Gaster said. "I will ask when I go in tomorrow."

"Thanks, Dad," True grinned happily, giving him a quick hug before spinning around. "I'm going to walk her home, if she wants."

Gaster nodded. "I think that would be a fine and very gentlemanly thing to do."

"Thanks, Dad," True said again, wheeling into the living room, trying to figure out where Paul and Kat had wondered off to.

The two of them were sitting on the couch in the living room. Paul was telling Kat about all his favorite songs, saying how he liked True's the best, although he liked Kat's music a lot too.

"I think I've got a head start, seeing as I'm his brother," True smiled, wheeling up next to them. "Don't worry, soon you'll be his favorite."

Paul smiled at True. Kat laughed some. "Well, thanks for the vote of confidence there."

"It's not a vote of confidence, it's a vote of jealousy!" True laughed and pulledPul to him, giving him a gentle noogie, playing around.

Paul laughed and giggled. "You will still be my favorite True! You'll both be my favorites!" Kat laughed a little hearing that.

"Good. I don't wanna loose my number one fan," True said, kissing the top of his head then let him go. "Will you go do some packing? Kat and I need to talk."

Paul giggled and nodded before he scurried upstairs.

Kat looked at True. She seemed more relaxed now. "What's up?"

"I was wondering if you'd like me to walk you home?" True offered. "I mean, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you'd like, but I figured a high-class girl like you wouldn't want to hang out in someone else's over-sized clothes for too long." He gave her a shy, sincere smile.

Kat smiled and laughed a little. "I would appreciate that, thank you. The walk home, I mean. But I am no high class girl. Trust me."

True gave her a puzzled look as he backed up. "You seem like one to me. Hang on, let me grab my coat."

Kat blushed a little at that and got her purse and ruined dress. She decided to carry her heels for now. It would be weirder to wear and walk in heels in this instead of going barefoot.

"I think Sam's flip flops might fit," True said, worried for her feet, as he came back.

Kat shook her head. "I'll be fine. I like walking barefoot, and have done it a lot of times actually, even in the city."

"Okay, come on, then," True smiled, opening the door for her.

Kat smiled a thanks and walked out, and waited for him at the curb. "Even though you're moving out, that's still a nice house. Any idea what your dad plans on doing with it yet?"

"He's going to try renting it out, at first," True told her, slowly wheeling along beside her. "I'm not sure if that's a good plan, but I've only rented apartments, not houses, so it's probably a different market."

Kat shrugged. "Well, houses I bet bring in a bit more money, but are also more expensive to rent. You would get more space though as a plus." She walked at the pace True set, okay with taking their time to walk to her place.

"That makes sense," True agreed. "You live alone or with someone? Renting?"

"I am renting an apartment by myself." Kat said with a sigh. "I can show you if you want. We have an elevator so I could take you up."

"Um... Sure, why not?" True agreed, nodding.
