DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Hmm?  Yeah, I'm still here," Lex grunted.  Tramp was passed out on top of Lex as Lex lay uncomfortably on the bed.

Layla smiled a little. "Need anything? True is about to leave on a hot date with Kat." She updated him softly.

"I need to know what fine print I missed that states I have to be his mattress," Lex wheezed.

Layla smiled and quietly walked over and kissed Lex's cheek. "I can see if I can help once Ashton wakes up if you want. True's about to head out now."

"Okay," Lex mumbled, out of breath.  "Take care of Ash."

"I will." Layla promised. "Yell if you need me." She retreated downstairs to watch over Ashton, knowing how much he meant to Lex.

Lex just grunted.  Was Tramp drooling on him?  Yes he was drooling on him!  Ashton owed him big time.

Night had climbed up onto Ashton and was curled up, purring as he slept.  Hugs lay nestled with Bobo, cleaning the dog's face.

Layla smiled when she saw the cuteness. "All right, True. Lex is alive, so get out of here so you can make out with Kat." She teased him.

True rolled his eyes as he headed for the door.  "Do you have to say it like that?"

"I could make it sound worse." Layla smiled sweetly. "Tell Kat I said hi!"

True saluted her as he headed out the door.  He went to meet Kat at her apartment, making certain he looked good.

Kat opened the door when he got there. She was dressed up a bit, in a nice dress and just the right amount of makeup, and her hair done up a little bit. "Hi. You look very nice." She said a little shyly, checking True out some.

True smiled shyly at her.  "You are... too beautiful for words."  He smiled as he backed up a bit.  "Normally, I think I'm supposed to offer you my arm, but I'm afraid it's going to be a bit busy.  Will you still accompany me?"

Kat blushed a little but still smiled. "Of course I will. It'd be my pleasure."

True smiled and led the way to the carousal he had shared with Kat once so long ago, it seemed.

Kat smiled as she remembered. "It's been a while since we came here." She commented. "Remember when you fell on me by accident?" She said, blushing a little but still smiling.

True chuckled.  "That was the happiest accident that's ever happened to me," he admitted.  He watched the carousal as it lit up the night and began to turn slowly.  In the flickering lights, he turned to Kat, facing her head on.  "Kat, I have something to ask you."

Kat smiled at the carousal for a moment before turning to True, smiling a little. "Yeah? What is it?"

True presented a long flat box.  "Open it?" he asked.

Kat looked a little confused, but did as he asked. She opened the box and looked inside it.

The locket True had bought some time ago lay on top of a pair of all-access concert tickets. 
"Go with me?" True asked quietly.

Kat's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh..." She said. "It's beautiful... and I love this band!" She gushed a bit. Kat nodded. "I'd love to go with you to see them!"

True grinned excitedly.  "Thank you for saying yes!" he blurted then blushed deeply.  "I mean..."

Kat smiled and leaned down, kissing True happily. She was thankful to have him in her life, as he always seemed to make her feel happy. She wouldn't trade True for anything.

True reached out and suddenly pulled Kat into his lap, kissing her deeply.
