DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"Well, I spent pretty well all of it working on a project." Kat said with a smile. "However, it's done, and I'm really happy with how it finally turned out." She said proudly.

"Really? That is awesome!" True exclaimed. Can I ask what project? "

"Oh, just a song I was working on." Kat said vaguely. "How about you? Is your recording area up and running well enough?"

"I think it's ready!" True said cheerfully. "So how shall we work out collabing together?"

Kat smiled. "Well, if you want the piano in it, we will probably have to record at my place. If you just want my vocals, than either or will do."

True considered. "Let's do both and see how it turns out," he suggested. "Start with vocals then do it again with piano."

Kat smiled. "Sounds like a plan to me." She held the door for True when they reached the Panera.

Again True opened the door for her and insisted she go first and order whatever she liked. Tonight was all about Kat.

Kat smiled and thanked him for both the door and the offer. "I can pay for my own food though." She offered.

"Not a chance!" True insisted. "I've got it covered."

"Are you sure?" Kat asked.

"Any farther discussion on the matter I shall consider an insult," True said dramatically. "Now please, fair maid, choose your substance!"

Kat laughed and ordered a grilled cheese and a chocolate pastry. She would make sure she paid True back somehow later.

True gave his order then picked their table. He felt bad not letting Kat choose, but it was just easier since he knew what he could and couldn't navigate.

Kat didn't mind at all that True chose. She was typically pretty easygoing, so it would be hard to offend her on something like this.

True found a good table and happily chatting about music, the weather, and anything else that came to mind. He hardly even noticed when the food arrived.

Kat happily talked with True about any and everything. she picked at her food some, but was a lot more focused with talking with him over eating.

True talked plenty, but he was also captivated by anything Kat had to say. She was amazing!

Kat smiled the whole time. She loved seeing True smile, and enjoyed every moment with him. She talked with him and chatted, not even realizing they had been sitting there for a full hour now, just talking with each other.

True finally checked the time and laughed. "You know, normally I have a hard time keeping a conversation going for ten minutes iif it's not about music, and here we are an hour and a half later! You really are something special."

Kat laughed and looked down. "Well, you're pretty easy to hold a conversation with."

True grinned, shifting self consciously. "So are you. Well, it looks they are about ready to close. We should probably move along."

Kat looked around and nodded. "Um, do you want to go do something else maybe?"

True nodded with a faint smile. "I hope you don't mind walking a little bit more," he said, moving toward the door.

Kat smiled. "Not at all. Where do you want to go?" She asked him. Kat opened the door for True.
