DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Sam shook his head. "It's interesting."

"Then get back here, I'm missing my arm rest," True smirked.

Sam laughed and snuggled next to True to watch the rest of the anime.

Again True ended up falling asleep during the show, but not until near the end. He nestled into Sam, calm and happy, sound asleep with his new little brother.

After the anime was done, Sam looked over at True. He smiled when he saw he was asleep, and just stayed snuggled there for now. He didn't mind not moving for a while longer.

True slept until shortly before Paul was supposed to get out of school. He woke with a jolt then gave Sam a sleepy look. "Oh, it's you. Hi."

Sam smiled. "Morning Sleeping Beauty." He teased. "You have some bedhead now."

"I do?" True reached up and scrubbed his hands through his hair. ""How's that?"

"Messy still, but a little better." Sam said with a grin.

"Thanks. I- Holy crap, is that the time?" True asked, staring at the clock. "You should be going with Dad to get Paul."

Sam saw the time and nodded. "Come on. We can all go together. If you want, I can push you so we can go faster without you hurting yourself."

True hesitated then nodded. "Sure. Can you help me into the chair?"

Sam nodded and helped as much as True wanted and needed. It was clear Sam accepted True completely for who he was. True could see various gears turning in the kid's head.

It was a painful process, but manageable, and True kept his grumbling to himself as he shifted from bed to chair. Once he'd caught his breath, he glanced at Sam. "What's in that head of yours?"

Sam just grinned and pushed True quickly to the elevator to meet with Gaster to walk to the school to pick up Paul. Sam didn't say what he was thinking.

"That had better not be a prank involving a gallon of honey or something," True grumbled when Sam wouldn't answer.

"No, but that's a good idea." Sam said with a wide grin. They met up with Dr. Gaster, and he walked with them to the school. "How was your two'e day?" He asked.

"Pretty good. We watched anime. How was yours?" True asked.

"I worked on several projects." Gaster said. "The algorithms for one aren't adding up like I want to, but that's part of the process too."

True nodded to Sam. "Maybe he can help you?"

Gaster shook his head. "This project is out of his league for now. Sam is great at helping me work out minor flaws after I have the formula mostly figured out. This one is still in the very early stages."

"What are you formulating?" True asked curiously.

"A possible way to mutate stem cells or synthetic stem cells to create some of the most delicate human organs." Gaster said. He hoped he hit the sweet spot of providing enough information but staying vague enough he could keep most of the details of this project under wraps.

"That could be really helpful, like with needing new organs, new hearts, lungs, that's danged impressive," True grinned.

Gaster smiled and nodded. "That is the goal, yes."
