DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

"If you're sure," True agreed, "but let's get you better, first. I don't think Dr. Ally is going to warm up to me any time soon."

Gaster chuckled. "Dr. Ally is a curious one. She is what they cal an, ah, anime nerd. If you talk anything Japan to her, you will become her next best friend."

"I'll remember that," True smiled. "You should get some sleep."

Gaster nodded and thanked True. Paul asked if they could spend the night with their dad.

True nodded his consent and found a big comfy chair for one of them to sleep on since the bed wouldn't hold all three. He would be fine in his chair.

Sam let Paul cuddle with their dad, and snuggled into the chair. The night went by fairly uneventful, and even kind of peacefully.

True woke first and had to work a kink out of his neck then went down to get some breakfast. He brought it up and laid it out on the bed tray carefully.

Gaster was the first to wake, being a lighter sleeper and heard True return. He put on his glasses and smiled thankfully at True.

"Do you want me to go get your spare, or are those good until you can come home?" True asked.

"They're good enough for now, thank you." Gaster said. He looked at his boys and upon seeing them still asleep, he sighed. "True, I have to apologize. It was immature of someone of my field to become wary of you solely because of your name that night. You are nothing like him, and for even considering the notion was irrational, and so I apologize."

True dropped his gaze and shrugged. "It's okay. I'm kind of used to it. I understand. Who wouldn't get squirmy around that name?"

Gaster sighed and pushed his glasses a little further on his nose. "It was still rude of me, especially after hoe kindly you have treated me and my children."

"I understand. At least you apologized. It's okay," True said, looking up at him.

Gaster smiled at him. "If it still means anything... I would still be honored to call you my son."

True smiled and reached out to take his hand. "I was afraid you wouldn't want to anymore. Yes, I'd like that."

Gaster gave his hand a gentle squeeze. His smile faded as he recollected something. "True, are you okay? I heard him hitting you... back there."

"Bruised up, I think he may have cracked a rib, but I've had worse," True said dismissively. "I'll be fine."

Gaster shook his head. "True, go get it checked out. Please. We are here, and it will be no trouble."

True stubbornly shook his head. "When you get better, you can look it over. I hate doctors in general."

Gaster nodded and accepted that for now. Some nurses came in, which woke Sam and Paul, and gave Dr. Gaster a check up to see if he was well enough to be discharged.

"So? How's he doing?" True asked them, fidgeting with his chair.

The nurses smile. "He will be sore for a while, but Dr. Gaster should be able to go home as soon as he's ready."

True glanced at Gaster. "When will you be ready to go?"

"Right after I eat and change out of paper clothes." Gaster said. The nurse went to get Gaster some clothes he could wear home.

"But you look so fashionable! Don't you agree, boys?" True smirked.
