DT Serum, Primary Testing In Progress

Ashton moved so he was sitting on the couch Indian style. "Now what?" He challenged.

"I do too." Laayla sighed. "The first heartbreak is always the hardest."

"Is that a challenge?" True grinned.  He rolled over to the couch and seized Ashton's arms, throwing his weight over and back.  The move pulled Ashton off the couch to the floor.  Of course, it also sent True falling out of his chair, but he was okay with that as it sent him tumbling down onto Ashton and pinning him to the floor.
"Oi!" Lex scowled.

"Yes, the first cut is the deepest," Geena sighed.

That surprised Ashton, but after True pinned him, the bulky guy flipped them so he was the one pinning True now. "Now what?" He challenged again, pinning True's wrists above his head with one hand, the other free. "Hey Lex? Is True ticklish at all?"

Layla nodded. "But... it gets better with time, yeah?"

"Hey, I ain't a part of this," Lex said, turning away.
"The hell you aren't," True shot back, angling a leg.  He managed an awkward kick and sent his chair rolling into the back of Lex's knees.
Lex fell into the chair with a yelp and went rolling half way across the living room.  Lex taken care of, True canted his hips and rolled himself and Ashton so he was on top once more.  "That!"

"In time, yes. As long as you take care of the pain," Geena told Layla.  "If not, then old wounds can fester and poison you.  Then, who knows how long it will take to overcome it.  I know I-"  Geena opened the front door and stopped short when she saw Lex rolling across the living room in True's chair and True and Ashton tussling on the floor.

Ashton poked at True's ribs once he was on top again, and looked over at Layla and Geena when they came in.

Layla looked around in surprise. "Um.... do I want to know what's going on?"

True twisted around to see Geena and Layla.  "Oh... You're home... HI!"
"Blasted chair," Lex grumbled, trying to figure out how to get out of it without it rolling everywhere.
"Um..."  Geena couldn't even begin.

Ashton poked True's sides and tazed him. Even if the girls were home, he would carry on and win this round.

"Lex, do you want help?" Layla offered.

True squealed and elbowed Ashton, working his way to the top once more.

"Yes, please," Lex said, giving up.

"Ashton, True, please don't roll into any of the shelves.  You might break something," Geena said calmly, moving toward her room to hide the shoes.

"True, you squeal like a girl!" Ashton teased.

Layla smiled gently and held the chair steady so Lex could get up.

"And you fight like one, resorting to tickles so quick," True retorted.

"Thanks," Lex grunted, finally getting up.  "Annoying children."

"This is the family friendly alternative." Ashton stated. "Were you an enemy, I wouldn't be tickling you." he said before tickling True mercilessly.

Layla giggled. "At least you got Ashton down here and doing something." She pointed out positively.

"That was all his doing," Lex said, jerking a thumb at True, who was currently flailing about and squealing helplessly.

"You got him down here though." Layla said. "And to be honest, you were probably the only one who could do that."

"Probably," Lex agreed then went over and nudged Ashton with his foot.  "Oi!  Can we talk wedding plans now?  Or are you still busy?"

Ashton nodded and stood. "Want me to get your chair over here first?" He offered to True.

"Nah, I can make it to the couch," True said then shoved Ashton off so he could do just that.

Ashton stepped back and let True do his own thing, standing near Lex and Layla.

True had gotten himself settled on the couch just as Geena walked in.  "Hey, Geena?  Can we talk about tomorrow?"
Geena smiled, excited.  "Of course!  Come, Layla, Lex, Ashton.  Sit.  Does anyone know if Kat is coming?"

"I can call her and ask." Layla volunteered. "I think she said she would, but I can double check."

Ashton sat next to Lex on the couch.

"Yes, please," Geena smiled, pulling up a chair.  "I'd like to go over everything that's going on.  It won't be complicated as it's only a justice of the peace, but I still want it to go smoothly."

Layla nodded and stepped out to call Kat. She came back in several minutes later. "Kat said she would love to attend, and is coming over as soon as she can to talk about the details, and possible keep True company tonight." She reported, ending in a wink at True.

"Company just means company," True sniffed.  It would be good to see her.

"Don't tell that to Kat." Layla teased. "She might get the wrong idea."

"You're a twerp," True grumbled.

Layla giggled.

Ashton rolled his eyes a little. He still felt tired and apathetic about everything going on.
