Dragon Rider Play

Pat took a deep breath and leaned down, letting Jeremiah close the gap.

Jeremiah leaned in just enough for his lips to reach hers. He kissed Pat gently.

Pat returned the kiss, leaning in slightly and laying her fingers against his cheek.  She never would have thought it, but his lips were so soft and tasted so sweet!

Jeremiah lightly placed a hand on the back of Pat's neck once more, to gently keep her near. He adored having her so close.

Pat closed her eyes, relaxing fully into the kiss.  She loved this.  Being close to him, sharing his space, tasting him.

Jeremiah felt like he was soaring. Pat made him feel free and happy, two emotions he hadn't felt much of before he came to the islands, but Pat made him feel it so much stronger.

Pat found herself laying down, stretching out alongside Jeremiah and holding him close to her, trying not to hurt his injuries as she kissed him.

That made it easier on Jeremiah, and he he held her a little closer. He wasn't a very tall or burly fellow, but Jeremiah was still pretty strong, and his arms secure and warm.

Pat could feel the earth of his body next to hers and she drank it in, savoring the strength of his arms and the protection she felt within them. Her mouth opened ever so slightly as she deepened the kiss without realizing it, her kiss still slow and gentle.

Jeremiah could feel his heart pounding. All that seemed to be and all that mattered now was Pat. The feeling of her body and how it fit against his and the sensation of her lips on his was all that he could focus on right now.

Pat slowly pulled back, breathing hard. "Jeremiah," she whispered hoarsely, trembling a little.

Jeremiah just looked into her eyes and lightly brushed her cheek with his fingertips. "Yeah, Pat?" He whispered.

"I'm scared," she admitted.  "I don't want this to become a dream, and if it's not a dream, I don't want it to go to far too fast, but I do not know what I am doing."

Jeremiah smiled a little. "Well, I hope this isn't a dream too. I don't want to scare you off, and this is my first time too."

Pat smiled and carefully nestled into him.  "I trust you, Jeremiah.  I don't trust myself."

Jeremiah laughed softly. "Well, I trust you. Doesn't that count for something?"

Pat smiled and touched his nose with hers.  "I think so, yes."  She kissed him again, short and sweet this time.  "I also think I really really like you."

Jeremiah smiled happily. He felt like he was soaring. "I think I really, really like you too."

"Maybe even more than like?" Pat dared to suggest.

Jeremiah smiled and laughed softly. "Yeah... maybe even a bit more than that..."

"I think I might a little more than like you, as well," Pat smiled.

Jeremiah smiled. He was overjoyed to hear that.

"You should rest," Pat murmured, stroking his cheek.

Jeremiah hesitated but nodded. "You're right. It'll only help."

Pat smiled and slipped off his bed to sit beside him, but she still held his hand. "I'm not going anywhere."
