Dragon Rider Play

The metal creation was a lot more durable than the bears Mark would make, and took the rough play well. Luke smiled.

Warrior trotted to Luke and basically bowled him over, snuggling and nuzzling him happily.  Thank you, Rider!

"Well done!" Pat laughed, watching them.

Luke laughed as he fell and wrestled with Warrior a little.

Blackwater announced that they were free to go once everyone on their team was accounted for and their items found.

Pat looked for Luke and Jeremiah.  "I guess we are ready to go?"  She wasn't sure what to do without Tithenor taking charge after every class.

Jeremiah nodded. "Yup. Let's get lunch under way. I'm starving!"

Luke jumped to his feet. He was ready to go and excited for the next adventure.

Pat followed, the dragons bounding with their riders.

Once at the rookery, Jeremiah got some lunch out for all of the dragons to have while their riders ate. He then went to the Mess Hall to ask the chefs once more very politely if he could take Tithenor his food. He made a point to tell the Head Chef that Pat tripped, so not everything that happened was life threatening.

The chef belly laughed and thanked Jeremiah for the story before handing over a generous porting for him and the elf.

Jeremiah kindly thanks the chef again and heads to the medical ward to see his brother.

Tithenor was sitting up again, his back curled. Never once did he allow himself to slouch or present a posture that was anything short of regal, but now here he was, slouching and slumped over from pain.

"Want me to see if 53 has anything to dull the pain?" Jeremiah asked gently. He hated seeing Tithenor so degraded by all that happened.

Tithenor hissed in surprise and his back straightened, his shoulders going back. "I am perfectly fine, honeg,thank you," he said stiffly.

Jeremiah glared at him. "That's a lie and you know it. I would call you a god if you weren't in some sort of pain. I've been stabbed in less painful places, and was still hurting at this stage of the healing."

"I did not say I was not in pain," Tithenor said, slowly turning to recline against the pillows. "I said I was fine. I can live with it. Much already?"

Jeremiah nodded and handed Tithenor his plate. "You sure you don't want me to ask 53 for something to at least ease the pain?"

"No. I do not like the way I act when subject to them," Tithenor said firmly.

Jeremiah nodded. "Fair enough. Other than the pain, how are you feeling?"

"Trapped," TIthenor admitted.  "I wish to be out."

Jeremiah smiled faintly. "Tonight you will be out, remember? The hot springs and the healing water...."

Tithenor smiled.  "Yes, thank you.  That will be marvolous!"

Jeremiah smiled more when he saw how happy Tithenor seemed about the idea. "It'll be awesome, won't it."

"Are you sure you wish to use what I gave you?" Tithenor asked with a frown.

Jeremiah smiled. "The way I see it, you need it more than I do right now, so I am more than willing to use it now."

"Thank you.  I will be sure to make you more at another time," Tithenor promised.  He started picking at his food.  "How is Luke fitting in?"

"Alistair's group tried to cause trouble with him." Jeremiah said. "Luke was trying to help Warrior walk like a show dragon, and Alistair tried to degrade him and our team for it. I politely reminded him that our team is still above his in the standings, and that having the option of show dragons as well as being riders could bring in extra money."
