Map of the Floating Islands.  Fairly self-explanatory.  The Floating Islands are a clump of islands miles above land that "float" on the magnetic currents of the rocks that make up the island repelling them from the earth while gravity pulls them down.  Not magic, but close.

Main Island: The Castle is where you can find the mess hall, teacher's offices and living quarters, and the Headmaster's office.  Three meals a day, if you're late you get scraps if you're lucky.  If you piss off a teacher, you just may find yourself pulling Kitchen duty for a while.  The library is also the classroom.  The trainee's barracks and the Rookery are also on the main island.

The Blacksmith and the Training ring where trainees get the tar beaten out of them are on adjoining islands to the East.  To the South are two islands dedicated to wildlife.  The first has mostly smaller prey, the second the bigger, more vicious beasts.  The hot springs are to the West but are rarely used as they are just for self-care.  Don't ask how there can be a hot spring on a floating island.  No one knows and just chalks it up to the magic.

The hatching ceremony happens once a year. First, the hopefuls gather at specified locations throughout the kingdom and test the eggs. If the egg responds, and trust me you'll know when it does, the chosen trainees are taken to the Floating Islands for the Hatching of their dragons at the next new moon (usually within a week or two).

There are four teachers along with the Headmaster and assorted staff and teacher's aids. A few trainees from older classes and graduates stay on to help with sparring partners, but after the first year, most are sent off the Islands to work or train elsewhere. The teachers and classes are:
