Jeremiah nodded. "Yeah, the team feels weird without you, and then even weirder with Luke instead of Mark. Pat and Luke have taken to look to me to be a leader, and I don't know if I like that or not."

Tithenor moved his arm enough to pat Jeremiah's shoulder.  "You will do well as a second in command."

"Well, you should stick around then so I don't have to be first then." Jeremiah said with a small smile. "You lead better than me, and tend to have more patience and cool than me."

"I am the elder brother.  Of course I have more cool," he told Jeremiah with a fain smile.

Jeremiah laughed. "Yeah, you are, toriaun. Just don't forget it next time and try to do my thing."

Tithenor tipped his head and raised an eyebrow.  "Do your thing?  What is your thing?"

"Overreacting and getting into fights." Jeremiah said with a smile.

"Ah."  Tithenor smiled.  "I shall make my best attempt to leave that to you, honeg."

Jeremiah laughed. "As long as you can pull me out of them once I'm done overreacting, we're cool."

"I always shall," TIthenor promised and closed his eyes once more.  He was drifting, the water soothing his injuries, taking away the constant throbbing in his chest.  He could breathe now.  It was wonderful!  Optimally, he'd soak in the solution for three days, but one would have to do.  He was getting a taste of what humans had to go through.  Poor things.

Jeremiah smiled. He was glad Tithenor looked content and relaxed. He got an idea, but wasn't sure what Tithenor would think of it. "Hey Tithenor? How do you make the healing water stuff? Maybe I could make some more for you while you recover? I promise I would take the secret to my grave."

Tithenor lifted his head, frowning slightly.  After a moment, he said, "I suppose I am merely passing on the secret to another elf, as you are my brother.  I will write down the ingredients and show you tomorrow after you gather them.  Agreed?"

Jeremiah nodded. "And then I will make some so you can get out of the med ward again. Deal?"

"Deal," Tithenor smiled.  "Thank you, honeg.  Thank you."

53 and Pat returned, the healer clearing his throat.  "It's about time to return to the ward."

Jeremiah grinned widely, but pouted when 53 and Pat returned. "What? but we've only been here for five minutes!"

"We've been here for over an hour, Jeremiah," Pat grinned, pointing at the dark sky.  "Luke's long done with his lessons with Lucius."

Jeremiah grumbled, but didn't argue the topic any more. "Okay, okay. What can I do to help?"

53 instructed Pat, Tithenor, and Pat how to help Tithenor out of the water and dressed.  Tthenor was wobbly, especially now that his muscles were all loose.  Pat stood on one side, Jeremiah on the other to support him as he walked.

(53 instructed Pat twice? XD)

Jeremiah just put pants on and carried the rest of his things with him for now while he helped his friend.

(And Jeremiah.  Yep.)

"Thank you," Tithenor said softly.

Jeremiah grinned. "Hey, I'm tired of playing the leader, so we need to get you back in the game, right?" He teased.

"I see.  This is all for selfish gain," Tithenor replied.

"Of course it is!" Pat said cheerfully.  "That's the honorable Jeremiah way!"

53 chuckled and got the door for them.  "Once he is in bed, you should both follow his lead."

Jeremiah laughed. "If the doc commands it, so it will be."

53 laughed.  "Chef Amond was right.  You are quite the flatterer, young lad.  Get on with you."  He took Tithenor and helped him back into bed. 
Tithenor went willingly, seeming more at peace now than before.  He settled down and drew Mellon close.  Good dragon.

"Chef Amond?" Jeremiah asked curiously. "Is that the head chef's name?"
