Interesting Tidbits: She has lived the proper life of a proper girl belonging to a prosperous family her whole life.  She is timid, quiet, has all the proper training, proper etiquette, in all she IS proper.  When she found out her family had arranged her marriage, she decided this was her last chance.  Either she would become a dragon rider, or she would spend her life the meek, quiet wife of someone she'd never met.

Interesting Tidbits: Scribe at the Floating Islands. He has a dragon, but it's rather hard to be a rider when your full grown dragon can sit on your shoulders. He is cool, meticulous, a bit OCD, but not that bad of a teacher. As long as he can tell you're trying, he will be patient and spend any amount of time to help you "get it."

Interesting Tidbits: Sprite Dragons are characterized by small build, speed, and have the sharpest fangs and claws in the dragon kingdom. They come in many colors, often bright, and are masters of camouflage.

Interesting Tidbits: Shadow Dragons are characterized by dark, dull, soft scales and night vision. They have poisonous bites due to the algae growing in their mouths [see Kimono dragon for more details on bite]

Interesting Tidbits: He is the nephew of the leader of an assassination guild, so hush hush. That is why he seems to always have sharp, pointy objects on him and knows how to use them.

Interesting Tidbits: His family raises dragons for show. He hates it. He hates the high class people who want to own dragons for pampered pets instead of companions and friends, so he ran away to try and become a rider, so he could instead become partners with one.

Name: Natchmagen (Pat Rice's dragon)

Breed: High Dark Forest Dragon
Interesting Tidbits: Slightly smaller than the average battle dragons, these beasts can still be rode quite comfortably, but are a little picky when they choose riders. The problem arises since most riders are male, and it's actually the females that are stronger. The breed overall has near perfect night vision, and rely on speed and stealth to hunt. Their feathered wings allow them to fly as silently as an owl, and their intelligence and cunning are on par with humans. They can be temperamental though, and slow to forgive if wronged.

Breed: Eastern Mountain Hail Dragon
Interesting Tidbits: This large and powerful breed embodies all of winter's fury in it's strong breath attack. It's used to freezing prey before devouring it, and it's large size helps it stay warm, as well as fight off other males for the right to mate. Their scales are incredibly hard and have a special insulating quality to them. Overall, these fearsome beasts are strong and make good partners on the front lines of the battlefield, and are known for being incredibly loyal to their riders.

Interesting Tidbits: Not the smartest dragon in the Clan, but a more loyal dragon you will not find.  It may take a bit for a lesson to sink in, but once it does, it's stuck for life, and they remember E-ver-y-thing! They generally come in purple and blue colors and have a massive frill from stem to stern.

Interesting Tidbits: Definately not the prettiest dragon breed, but fast, slender, and clever in getting in and out.  They come in black and grays, and the spines all over their bodies make it difficult to put a saddle on them.  Dragon breeders don't bother with them, and it's uncommon though not unheard of for them to choose a rider, so little is known of their training habits.

These large beasts are not known for being kindly to strangers in their territories, and will harness the powers of lightning to stun their prey before swooping in for the kill

Interesting Tidbits: He is a male dryad and a dragon rider. Deal with it.

Breed: Low Fells Forest Guardian
Interesting Tidbits: A rarely seen breed that protects the pristine forests of the low fells. The only race that sees them with any form of regularity is the dryads and druids that live in those parts. It is common among the few dryad riders in that area to be chosen by these beasts, since both have a close bond with protecting the forests. These dragons aren't the biggest, but their sturdy and stocky builds allow them to be mounted and ridden well enough.

Interesting Tidbits: Mark's younger brother. He has a few quirks that set him apart as a very different person than Mark, bot out of his siblings, Luke was probably Mark's favorite. Luke like Mark, however, has a keen eye for dragons and can identify most breeds and give a brief summary of them, but not a whole encyclopedia entry like his older brother can. His talents lie elsewhere.
